Wiping the Face After Qunut

Q: What is the ruling on wiping the face after qunut in witr?

A: It is recommended to wipe the face with both hands after the qunut of Witr just as it is after making dua in general.

This is based on several hadith, one of which is found in Sunan Abi Dawud which states that whenever the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم made dua he would raise his hands and wipe his face with them.

But the Hadith was classified as Da'if by Sheikh Al-Albani, along with several other similiar hadiths. Growing up wiping the face after Du'a was something done everytime, then were told that it was bid'ah so stopped. Do we still do something even though it has been classified as Da'if ?
