Q: Assalamu Alaykum Ustaadh for Hifdh of Hanbali Fiqh Texts which one would you advised to be memorized ?
A: Wa ‘alaykum al-salam. It really depends on what your goals are but I would suggest Bidayat al-Abid by al-Ba'li, Umdat al-Talib by al-Buhuti or Zad al-Mustaqni by al-Hajjawi. Whichever you pick, once you start, stick to it. Switching back and forth is a downfall of many. All the best.
