Purchasing Meat for Qurbani

Q: Can I purchase cow or camel meat, equivalent to 1/7th of the animal, and offer it as my Udhiyah/Qurbani?

A: If the animal was slaughtered solely for its meat it will NOT be sufficient to offer as Udhiyah.
