Offer Qurbani on Behalf of Someone

َQ: It is permissible to offer an udhiyyah on behalf of someone else?


A: Yes, it is preferred to slaughter on behalf of the deceased as opposed to the living because they are unable to do it themselves and in more need of the reward.
