Is it permissible to delay Hajj/Umrah?

Q: If I meet all the conditions of Hajj/Umrah, can I delay going to the following year or more?

A: Hajj/Umrah must be performed immediately and therefore sinful if delayed based on the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, “Make haste to hajj (the obligation) for none know what may come there way.” [Ahmad]
